London – Oval Cricket Ground, June 2014

A curated exhibition of 70 narratives, including video, photo-essays, letters, Trees of life, memory mapping and minimalist graphics were displayed in the Long Room of the Oval Cricket Ground during the Sri Lanka vs England

Colombo Art Biennale 2014

10 stories form the North, East and South, with minimalist graphic representation of the source material by artist Shanika Perera, with the original material attached in English, Tamil and Sinhala was displayed at JDA Perera

India – South Asian University Delhi 2015

30 narratives were presented in photo-essay format, minimalist graphics with letters and video formats at the Conference on Gender, Conflict and Security organised by South Asia University in Delhi, India and UN Women

Australia – ‘A way out’ April 2014

Herstories contributed to an exhibition organised by Palmyrah Projects Australia in Sydney which raised funds for 35 poultry farmers in Mullaitivu and other projects in Sri Lanka

Toronto, Canada (May 28th-1st June 2014)

At the invitation of Sri Lankans Without Borders, a second generation Sri Lankan group with Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim and Burgher participation, that fosters dialogue. The exhibition was held at Manifesto Gallery.

London – Strand Gallery (26th – 30th March 2014)

This exhibition was supported by the FCO and the organisational support of Voices for Reconciliation – a group of second generation Sri Lankans promoting dialogue within the diaspora

Colombo Exhibition II – 25 − 28th July 2013

The second exhibition in Colombo was held at the International Centre for Ethnic Studies before the materials are given to the National Archives of Sri Lanka

Jaffna Exhibition 28th,29th June 2013

The exhibition was held at the YMCA hall in Jaffna town with the support of Viluthu-Jaffna team and ICES financial support + team  

Galle Exhibition, 7-10th June 2013

The exhibition was held in Galle despite the cyclone conditions that disrupted the movement many.

Kabul, Afghanistan Exhibition 10 −14 May 2013

Herstories was invited to exhibit in Kabul and build the capacity of Afghanis to do bottom up story-telling themselves
