We were displaced from Kilinochchi on 15-08-2008. We lived in Wisvamadu, Chundikulam. Then we went to Mullaitivu as we couldn’t stay there on account of shell attacks and aerial bombing. We lived in Udaiyarkattu. After a few weeks we went to Suthanthirapuram. Then a few weeks later when we were through Thevipuram my husband and my son Suthakaran died in a shell attack. I was in Iranaippalai for a few days. Then I was near the Puthumaththalan hospital. Then on 08-04-2009 I was taken in a boat and kept at the transit camp in Kaithady, Jaffna.
I went to my son’s house in Vavuniya on 10-10-2009. In March 2010 I was resettled by the army in Kilinochchi, Vivekananda Nagar West. My house was completely destroyed. All productive trees were destroyed. I stay here all alone.
