Ampara Exhibition, 27-28 April 2013
The Ampara exhibition was held on the 20th and 21st of April, 2013 at the Christa Illam Centre in Kalmunai.
Nearly 400 people attended the exhibition including women’s rural development orgnaisation members, university students, community members from as far as Badulla and local officials. Many appreciated the importance of oral history, specifically because they in the East could hear the voices of women from the South and the North.
